[3D] Stealth Action Flick : The Work In Progress
Hello community!
There was a thing that I was working on a few years back involving spies and mercenaries which I dug up from the good ol' days.
However, due to my rust in 3DS Max, I decided to convert the project into a Maya deal.
This is a re-rigging of the model of days old.
Yes, crudely animated. But seems to have all the range of motions that I'm looking for.
[3D] Fat Proton Gen 2 made and animated in Maya
I almost forgot I had this blog! I was wondering what features Youtube has that enables you to communicate with your viewers then I remembered Youtube was part of Google which Blogspot is also affiliated with.
Ah. The loop. I'm so out of it.
Anyway, here's something that I did a while back. Was training myself to develop some kind of simple car rig. With reference from my good friend Yew Lee, I managed to come up with something for my Proton Gen 2 which I made a chibi model of.
What you just saw was a silly unpolished rig test.
The one you see above has a slightly tidied up animation for making my car dance next to my car.
That's probably all the time I plan to invest in this little project. It's DONE.
I'M DONE.

[Flash Animation] Baby Pupa Vs The Cone
Wow how many MGS:Peace Walker related posts exactly am I going to post amirite?
Wait, that line seems familiar. =___= NOPE! Never used it. Aha.
This is a minor project done during my spare time. Clearly, this monstrosity is from that game Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker which I am by now totally numb towards to.
The Pupa still fascinates me due to its flexibility. In-game, her motions remind me of an adorable little girl running around gleefully and happens to accidentally crash into you quite often.
This animation is supposed to convey that emotion but without the murderous rage.
This Baby Pupa model, which has no weapons, (and a school bag on it's hind quarters) was designed by me. I made the general silhouette of the Pupa still recognizable and yet added a bit of squash and stretch. So you could say it is slightly-super-deformed.
Software used, Maya. And of course Flash for embedding into an .swf.

Progress Czech
Due to the scaring of cousins and engagement in highly-explosive detonating activities, only so much was able to be done during the past trimester break.

What you see here is the Temple. Inspiration comes from the bar building in Samurai Jack episode "Samurai versus Samurai"

This is the squid. I am still unsatisfied with its outcome. Further work shall be worked on to the squid in the weeks to come. This shall function as a placeholder as of now.

Background 01: Shot of temple from quite a distance

Background 02: Shot of temple and Jack(not shown) to indicate character placement

Background 03: Shot from inside temple. Doors will open up revealing a Skeleton Jack. Doors will be added later.

Background 04: Generic grayish background. Side view of Jack will appear in foreground.

Background 05: A flight of stairs on which Jack will travel downwards into the fortress.

Background 06: Hallway at end of stairs. Warm lighting from adjacent area is slightly visible.

Background 07: Generic background with a hint of orange/red (help me I'm color blind)
All backgrounds were drawn and colored in Flash. 3D assets were crafted in 3DS Max.
That's all for now folks.

KLCC Nod Occupation

Created in one day and a half for the competition.
KLCC was half-assedly modelled by myself. At first I considered PAINTING (ha!) the extra buildings but then I figured it will translate better into the C&C universe if I used in-game structures to fill in the empty spaces in the image.
The cloud and light flare effects were added in Photoshop with guidance from the all-knowing and color-filled-vision Esadon.
Let's see how this goes eh?

Gamma is Sneeky
This be another piece of assignment in my course of Film and Animation.
More last minute work as evident by the roughly animated hose and cheap gas effects. But I still would like to know what you think.
I'd like to know what kind of color scheme would fit this setting.

Global Warming
I'd appreciate it if all comments/critic focus on the production values than the content. Global Warming wasn't our first choice. It was simply the one that required the least thinking. :D
